Emergence, TU Delft’s unique art-tech Dream Team, presents three projects in black_box_detox. Tour Rewire, SYNC, and illumina with creators and network with team leaders and group members to learn more about this interdisciplinary, STEAM research and development team dedicated to creating interactive art installations that make emerging technologies more tangible.

Two technology institutions in the Netherlands. Two ARS exhibitions. Three curators. Four or more artists. Drinks and two related themes. Both urge rethinking humanity’s roles and relationship to technology. Tapping into new networks. Alternative development and agency. Partiality, defects, and circumventing. Devices and closed systems. The missing variable in algorithms. Your open-ended questions, drawn from a black box. Incomplete answers from the art needed to make technology more living and life more experimental.

DH5 Nightline, feat. Awa : Polis (live band) and DJ Eyja & DJ Oaschkrapferl serves up the very best booty-shaking tunes: a mix of hip hop, Latin and electronic. Good vibes guaranteed.

Awa : polis is the marriage of two deviant projects (awa and ferropolis) crying salty tears into the Danube in the city of steel and dust (Linz, AT). From this gray and dull world emerged Ferropolis calling its sonics post mortem blues and psychedelic looser folklore while Awa breaks the unwritten rules and creates a rain cloud of soft anger for misunderstood demons with its wannabe jazz and disharmonic quartertones.
